VINTAGE NOTES
2018 delivered a truly outstanding growing season for fruit to make Rosé throughout the Margaret River Region. Steady, moderate temperatures throughout January and February led to wines with clean, bright fruit flavours and wonderful, refreshing natural acidity. This modern, dry style of Rosé is truly representative of the vintage.
WINEMAKING NOTES
The grapes were harvested in the middle of the night, lightly pressed then fermented in cool temperatures to encourage aroma production, texture and overall varietal character. On the completion of fermentation, the batches were chilled, blended and lightly fined before being stabilised and filtered only once to produce a bottle ready wine. This minimal handling has helped retain the attractive primary fruit flavours and aromas.
