We have some exciting news to share with you. Bec Hardy Wines has become a Certified Member of ‘Sustainable Winegrowing Australia’ (SWA).

Sustainable Winegrowing Australia is Australia’s national program for grape growers and winemakers to demonstrate and continuously improve their sustainability in the vineyard and winery through the environmental, social and economic aspects of their businesses. It also provides authority and confidence to customers, who receive reliable certified produce to address growing global consumer demand for increased levels of sustainability.

The Hardy family have a generational commitment to conservation starting with Thomas Hardy to Bec’s grandmother, Dr Barbara Hardy AO, a co-founder of Australia’s third largest owner of private conservation land through the not-for-profit Nature Foundation. For Bec, growing up around such inspirational influences made her incredibly conscious from an early age of the responsibility we have to the land around us. As well as this being a great achievement for us, it paves the way for what’s ahead because, for us, sustainability is a lifelong journey that underpins everything we do.
